Sampler Mats

These mats vary in size, shape and fabrics. All have hand-dyed velvet from my dyepots; several have hand-dyed taffeta and 'silkies' as well. Various yarns and other fabrics are used for backgrounds. My studio partner who is a painter loves to look at them for color ideas.

The fabrics certainly 'catch the light'.

Makes for a unique wall hanging. Glad to take more pictures, close-ups, etc.
